Area Manager

The South Carolina Area Manager is a key leadership position on the Carolina Virginia (CVA) Timberlands Lead Team in Weyerhaeuser’s Southern Timberlands Business. In this role, you will oversee timberlands operations across approximately 200,000 acres in South Carolina. This position, based in our Summerville, SC office, involves up to 20% business travel and reports directly to the Carolina Virginia Region Manager.

As South Carolina Area Manager, you will also participate in the formation and execution of the roadmap strategies for the region that are aligned with the company direction. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with a passion for leadership and people development. The successful candidate should be innovative in creating and extracting value and actively participate in teams dedicated to achieving Weyerhaeuser’s vision and goals.

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $117,328 - $176,132 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 20% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours.
