Job Opportunity: Area Manager – Industrial Water Treatment Specialist

Are you a highly skilled professional with expertise in water chemistry and industrial water treatment? We're looking for an Area Manager with a strong knowledge of industrial water treatment to join our team in the South of the United Kingdom. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead teams, grow the business, and provide exceptional service to our customers in water treatment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of Account Managers, Technicians, and Business Development Managers to ensure the growth of the business and exceptional customer satisfaction.

· Water Chemistry Expertise: Leverage your technical expertise in water chemistry to provide solutions in industrial water treatment, process water, and wastewater treatment.

· Customer Satisfaction: Build strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. Drive business growth using Value Selling, Business Reviews, ROI, CVA, and continuous improvement strategies.

· Business Development: Focus on sales growth by improving product mix, volume, profitability, and driving new business in the field of industrial water treatment.

· Financial Performance: Manage key financial targets such as revenue, gross profit (GP), price/mix/volume, and overall profitability.

· Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety and compliance regulations, fostering a safe working environment for staff and customers.

· Travel: Travel across the South of the United Kingdom, with 30-50% of your time spent in the field visiting customers and ensuring operational success.

Required Qualifications:

· Chemical Technical Studies: Successfully completed technical studies in chemical engineering or a related field.

· Specialized Knowledge: Expertise in the field of water chemistry, industrial water treatment, process water, and wastewater treatment.

· Industry Experience: Practical experience in industrial water treatment solutions is essential.

· Travel: Must be comfortable with traveling 30-50% of the time within the South of the UK.
