JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an Area Offering Manager – Connected and Digital Service Solutions to join our service leadership team for Americas (US, Mexico, and Canada).

Note: Position is primarily located in Lisle, IL or Allen, TX - and open to considering candidates on remote basis near major cities within US and Canada.

This role leads, develops, and drives the “Accelerate Digital” strategy initiatives, delivering solutions for 100% connected LIS (lifts in service). Key enabler for our future digital service transformation which unlocks productivity and delivers real time relevant customer information. Differentiates KONE service and enables profitable service revenue growth. Member of Area Service Leadership Team and key connection with Global Service counterparts.

JOB DUTIES

Lead development and implementation of strategies/initiatives for connected elevators and digital service solutions with two main outcomes for area: 1) enable field productivity targets, and 2) differentiate KONE service offering via customer communication & responsiveness.

Ideation, exploration, and development of solutions to ensure elevators are digital connected to reach our 100% goal.

Provide input from service business line to offering management colleagues in construction and modernization such that any offering with digital solutions has a robust end to end Order to Cash process for technical reliability and commercial success.

Offering development project management in collaboration with Research & Development, IT and global Commercial & Operations colleagues.

Member of the Area Service Leadership team that owns the overall Accelerate Digital global strategy for the Area

Represent Area needs to Global C&O, R&D and IT to ensure proper allocation of resources. Key link from Area to Global colleagues to convey local market needs and align with global direction.

The ideal candidate for this role is a strategic thinker with a strong business acumen, capable of developing and implementing long-term strategies that align with organizational goals. They possess expertise in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management, with proven skills in planning and executing projects to meet objectives and deadlines. Their technical expertise includes connected equipment solutions development, with a deep understanding of the technologies and tools used in service management. They are experienced in delivering digital service transformations, leveraging technology to drive commercial outcomes, with industry-specific knowledge in elevators or related sectors being a plus. Additionally, they excel at analyzing data to inform decisions and improve service offerings. Strong in relationship management, they demonstrate a deep commitment to meeting customer needs, communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders, and resolving conflicts efficiently. This candidate's ability to combine business, technology, and relationship management ensures a well-rounded approach to driving organizational success.

HIRING REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience in developing & delivering connected equipment solutions with strong business outcomes.

Experience in capital asset maintenance lifecycle industry environment is an advantage.

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or technology fields of study.  Equally valuable will be extensive IoT technology experience with track record in connected solutions development.

Fluent in English
