JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking an Area Offering Manager - Service Growth to join our service leadership team for Americas (US, Mexico, and Canada).
Note: Position is primarily located in Lisle, IL and open to considering candidates on remote basis near major cities within US and Canada.
This role is responsible leads, develops and drives “Accelerate Digital global/area” strategy initiatives delivering the expected 10% service revenue growth year on year. Increase proactive portion of repairs orders growth vs break fix repairs. Drive repairs operational excellence to increase field order book rotation. Drive maintenance pricing excellence. Lead maintenance offering competitiveness based on market and competitor dynamics to deliver profitable LIS (lifts in service) portfolio growth. Member of Area Service Leadership Team and key connection with Global Service counterparts.
JOB DUTIES
Service repair orders growth. Customer and market insights to develop packaged service repairs. Repairs pricing. Efficiency of end-to-end repair sales process. Sales culture of proactive repair selling vs break fix. Key metrics: Service OR MV, Service OR CMII%, repair pull through ratio % sales.
Repairs field operational excellence. Repair site readiness, scheduling, and field training to increase field capacity and improved order book rotation. Key metrics: Service Sales MV, Service CMII%, OR OB rotation.
Maintenance offering growth. Customer, market and competitive insights. Maintenance offering competitiveness. LIS growth initiatives. Maintenance Contract terms and conditions for long term profitable growth. Sales culture of LIO hunting. Key metrics LIS units, LIS MV, LIS MV/unit.
Maintenance pricing excellence. Customer, market and competitive insights. Pricing to overcome inflationary cost and capture customer value created. Maintenance portfolio profitability through addressing negative margin contracts, pricing escalation and pricing terms. Key metrics: pricing escalation and renegotiation % sales, negative margin contracts renegotiation capabilities, ratio of essential/advanced/premier KONE Care contracts for proper de-risking KONE LIS portfolio.
Member of the Area Service Leadership team that owns the overall Accelerate Digital global strategy for the Area
Represent Area needs to Global team ensuring proper allocation of resources. Key link from Global relevant counterparts to understand Global direction and expectations.
The ideal candidate for this role is a strategic thinker with strong business acumen, capable of developing and implementing long-term strategies aligned with organizational goals. One should possess a deep understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management, and have a proven track record of successfully planning and overseeing projects to meet objectives and deadlines. Technologically adept, the qualified candidate is familiar with relevant service management tools and uses data-driven insights to enhance service offerings and drive business outcomes. In terms of relationship management, they are customer-focused, with excellent communication skills that allow them to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members. They are also adept at resolving conflicts efficiently. As a leader, it is essential that one can inspire and motivate diverse teams, foster collaboration, and drive performance.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS
7+ years of experience working in a capital assets service maintenance environment inclusive of a regulated long life-cycle maintenance business environment, repairs pull through, and field repair excellence.
Experience in offering development, costing and pricing, marketing and sales support is also valuable
Experience working with service sales, maintenance, customer management and field operations.
Elevator or adjacent industry experience would be an advantage.
Front line P&L experience would be an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in in business, marketing, or engineering; equivalent trade qualifications with extensive front-line business or field experience.
Fluent in English
