SUMMARY

Execute, supervise, and inspect the operations and maintenance of all building equipment; including the testing, overhauling, installation, and repair of sophisticated refrigeration, dehumidification, air-conditioning, ventilation, and heating systems.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the primary point of contact for all building maintenance issues and manage the expectations of customers.  Perform, supervise, and inspect service calls and preventive maintenance and repairs including HVAC, building automation, carpentry, structural, plumbing, painting, and electrical tasks. Serve as the principal repair technician for critical/complicated failures. Communicate service details with customers and manage customers’ concerns and complaints. Supervise on-site and off-site technicians, vendors and subcontractors. Manage material requirements, vendor requirements and effectively allocate resources to include coordination of activities with service vendors. Act as a liaison with customers, administrators, and operational employees as necessary to ensure contract performance. Report in writing and orally to higher management; communicate directly with clients and/or other contractor personnel. Develop and maintain schedules and performance standards. Maintain the computerized maintenance management system. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and mentor assigned site project personnel.
