Area Parts Sales Manager

Compensation Data Salary: + Annual base salary: Starting @ $70K per year (potentially more depending on experience) + Eligible for Quarterly sales bonus/commission + Eligible for annual salary review/increase Purpose of the position The purpose of this position is to develop business by increasing YOY (year over year) sales profitability within an assigned region. Main tasks and responsibilities + Responsible for ensuring customer product satisfaction for spare parts in assigned area/region. + Establishes budget and sets targets/KPIs for assigned customers + Uses actionable data and historical sales information to develop/suggest innovative marketing campaigns to increase sales revenue for aftermarket programs. + Conducts in-person strategic business development plans & dealer performance reviews & regularly communicates dealer performance to parts sales team + Focus on product trends to recommend quarterly and weekly promotions. + Presents in-person sales presentation and or marketing material via webinar. + Provide swift daily support to assigned dealers. + Acts as a liaison between, internal departments, suppliers, and customers. + Utilize planning tools (Gap analysis and various sales reports) to develop a sales plan for each dealer. + Develop business relationships with dealers to promote value, sustainability, and growth. + Assist dealers with developing localized inventory to meet customer demand + Maintain the “MyKalmar” system/dealer portal + Utilize Salesforce to manage order entry/development into SAP + Responsible for Annual Return Management with assigned dealers What you’ll need to succeed Education: + Bachelor degree in Business or similar Technical degree preferred. High School diploma or GED required. Experience: + At least (3+) years of relevant business / product experience, preferably in a parts operation of an equipment manufacturer or dealership, or a technical position with experience in product configuration and component pricing. + Outside sales experience, in heavy industrial, mobile equipment industry preferred. Competencies: + Highly proficient in pipeline management, including target setting, forecasting, and closing deals. + Ability to maintain company profitability while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction. + Strong technical aptitude, organizational, and attention to detail skills. + Analytical – strong business, financial and B2B sales acumen. + Cost Consciousness – works with approved budget; develops and implements cost-saving measures; contributes to profits and revenue; conserves organizational resources. + Excellent verbal & written communication skills. + Wiliness to travel up to 50%.
