Your Role Reporting to the National Pricing and Yield Manager and supporting the Sea Logistics Southeast Area, you will oversee and develop the area pricing department. You will use your market expertise to develop pricing strategies, drive volume growth with optimized yields, allocation management and enhancing the customer and employee experiences. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze market data, and contribute to pricing excellence within the sea logistics business unit. Your Responsibilities You will oversee our Gross Profit, yield and allocation management in your areaCollaborate with our Trade Managers to ensure optimization of carrier allocation in accordance with our area demandDevelop pricing strategies at trade-lane, client, and area levelsParticipate in client meetings to assist area sales and assist SME RFQ preparationAlign on developing and executing pricing strategies for new and existing customers to optimize profitabilityIdentify our low-yield accounts, sell value-added services, and manage peak and slack season strategies to optimize yieldManage local/regional RFQs and local spot pricing requestsConduct regular pipeline reviews and trainings with area sales as our sea logistics SME expert, guiding strategic development Your Skills and Experiences Bachelor’s degree in the fields of Business/Marketing/Finance/Sales/Management or comparable work experience.Sales experience very beneficial5+ years of experience in Sea Logistics4+ years pricing experience1+ years of experience in a management position with 2 or more direct reportsComfortable working fully onsite with business travel as necessary, including an extended week-long travel within the first month of employment for sea logistics onboarding Good Reasons to Join There has never been a better time to work in logistics.
