**What You'll be Doing**
The Area Product Owner supports CIBC’s goal of being #1 in customer experience by maintaining and delivering the Product capabilities to maximize business value.
This Area Product Owner works closely with the PrecisionLender Product Owner to maintain and deliver on the product visions and roadmaps. You will work with internal Stakeholders to validate the data behind all calculations, provide pricing & profitability support, and prioritize new product capabilities and improvements. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Data Domain Leads, Technical Leads and Developers, and third parties to bring the vision to life. This includes understanding the people, process, technology, and data required to execute.

**How You'll Succeed**
+ Assist the frontline with pricing and the impact each component has on the relationship returns
+ Validate and maintain all application settings with periodic updates
+ Assist Product Owner in evaluating and testing all functionality produces desired outcomes
+ Lead all new PrecisionLender application user onboarding and training activities
+ Partner across disciplines to understand convergence with core platform and key initiatives to help drive planning and development
+ Communicate business and stakeholder requirements to the development team and ensure their designs align with the product vision
+ Own & resolve data risks, issues, and interdependencies while providing transparency into progress & challenges
+ Facilitate monthly dashboard reporting (Excel and PowerBi)
+ Commitment to share your formal and experiential knowledge with a growing team and organization
+ Ability to take on increasing scope and level of responsibilities as this role evolves
+ Create and update content on product Sharepoint pages in support of application users
+ Create a positive work environment and be an effective role model by championing CIBC’s mission, vision, and values
**Who You Are**
+ Successful candidates must exhibit CIBC’s values of trust, teamwork, and accountability
+ 4+ years of experience with profitability data & measurements and/or commercial loan pricing
+ 4+ years of experience in the financial services industry, ideally Commercial Banking.
+ Strong communication skills, ability to facilitate technical conversations with technical and non-technical stakeholders, partners and users preferred.
+ Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to encourage, motivate, and guide team and install collaboration amongst the application users
+ Strong relationship management skills to balance demands of various stakeholders, while also being approachable and assertive
+ Strong business acumen and ability to pick up complex technical concepts easily
+ Exceptional organizational, time management, and project management skills
+ Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams driving the best product and business outcomes.
+ Knowledge of Build Automation and Deployment Automation tools and techniques recommended
+ Project management experience considered an asset
_At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of_ $115K - $130K _for the Chicago, IL market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
