Area Sales Manager – CIS Countries (Turkish&Russian&English)

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales & BD Kazakhstan & CIS – Distributor Business, we are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Area Sales Manager to be based in our Istanbul office and manage our Distributor sales activities in the Commonwealth of Independent States Countries. The successful candidate will work closely with our Distributors in these countries to create sales strategies and drive sales in the area.  

We are looking for somebody with a proven track record of being a go-getter and understands how to partner and collaborate with the business. We need someone who can influence, with an analytical mindset, result driven and a strong commercial acumen skill.

What will you do?

Proactively develop KONE’s position and brand awareness in distributor countries.

Identifying growth opportunities by building relationships with key customers in the assigned area

Support and develop KONE's position in his/her customer base or market area.

Create and track strategic sales growth targets with distributors.

Business planning and forecasting for the area.

Define and implement pricing policies for the distributors in line with unit targets.

Provide KONE offerings to new markets and segments.

Ensures customer satisfaction and reduces service lead time.

Lead, direct, and evaluate employee competence development in cooperation with the process managers.

Support contract negotiation with distributors and KONE legal team.

Attend all requests from the distributor and ensure responses and solutions.

Manage /supervise the equipment delivery process.

Responsible for timely and accurate reporting.

Driving execution of her/his individual sales plan.

Coach, develop and manage direct reports to deliver strategic direction and support to distributor countries.

Are you the one?

7+ years of relevant working experience in sales management in a similar B2B industry

Excellent English, Turkish & Russian language skills are required

Experience in working closely within a distribution environment managing distributor business in related industries across CIS Countries with a focus on growth

Proven sales track record in the CIS region (Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Malta)

Being able to build a working environment and loyal network among key developers, architects, and consultants

Excellent understanding of value selling techniques and ability to conduct market study in dedicated countries

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships and influence customers and colleagues

Excellent public presentation skills with the ability to negotiate and close deals

Hands-on with the ability to work independently and propose alternatives and solutions

Advanced user of Microsoft Office  

Willingness to travel up to 50% across the region
