Regional Sales Manager
**Position Overview:** The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving aggressive growth and expanding market share, with a primary focus on Singapore. This role emphasizes selling our world-class range of gas detection products, solutions, and services, building strong customer relationships, and developing new business opportunities. In addition, this position will also support iNet growth in China by engaging directly with customers and collaborating closely with the China Sales Managers. The Sales Manager will be accountable for identifying opportunities, driving iNet adoption, and ensuring seamless customer experiences. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, results-driven professional with a strong work ethic and a passion for achieving targets. They thrive in a high-energy, sales-driven environment and are committed to delivering measurable results. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** This is an individual contributor role requiring active, hands-on involvement across all aspects of the sales cycle, with a primary focus on driving business growth in Singapore and secondary support for iNet growth opportunities in China. You will take full ownership of delivering sales results and achieving company objectives through proactive engagement, including: **Sales Execution:** • Sell gas detection solutions directly to customers and through distribution channels within the assigned territory. • Actively generate new sales opportunities for Industrial Scientific’s products, solutions, and services, with a strong emphasis on iNet as a service. • Proactively drive lead generation through research, outbound prospecting, referrals, digital marketing campaigns, and participation in exhibitions and events. • Engage customers throughout the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing, ensuring a seamless and professional experience. • Build a strong pipeline for both iNet and traditional solutions to meet and exceed sales targets. **Channel Development:** • Develop, maintain, and enhance relationships with distributor partners. • Deliver training and sales support to equip partners with the tools needed for success. **Accountability and Reporting:** • Track all sales activities, opportunities, and progress in the company CRM (Salesforce). • Provide regular updates and insights during sales meetings, including detailed reporting on pipeline health and sales funnel performance. • Complete all required documentation and maintain accurate records of sales interactions. **Customer Satisfaction and Support:** • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing technical assistance and resolving any issues promptly. • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and trust. **China - Customer Engagement Support for iNet:** • Partner with China Sales Managers to identify and engage potential iNet customers. • Support iNet project collaboration work • Follow-up support to ensure assigned customer satisfaction and long-term retention. **Performance Metrics** **Success in this role will be measured by:** • Achieving or exceeding individual sales targets. • Growing iNet adoption and sales in China. • Expanding the customer base in Singapore and beyond. • Developing productive relationships with distributor partners. • Maintaining accurate, real-time data in CRM systems. The scope of responsibilities may be altered from time to time and as required by the Company. **Required:** • Proven sales track record - 6 to 10 years full time work experience in a direct selling, customer facing, sales capacity. • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Experience establishing relationships via phone and email. • Goal oriented. Highly ethical. Acts with integrity. • Motivation and creativity to successfully reach prospects and build conversations • Organizational skills and a results-oriented self-starter attitude • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals • Demonstrated commitment to customer service • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications particularly PowerPoint and Excel **Preferred:** • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field • Gas detection experience (sales, customer service, or technical support) • Work experience in a customer-facing, direct-selling capacity.
