Atlas Copco Rental, a leader in air and steam rental, is looking for a highly technical, proactive, and self-motivated professional to fill the role of Area Sales Manager Steam Solutions to cover the Carolinas. The ASM Steam Solutions will be expected to generate new business, maintain existing base, and maximize customer satisfaction in the boiler rental industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/SKILLS
Expand existing customer base within assigned territory to promote Atlas Copco Rental’s boiler rental business.Daily calling on regular and prospective customers via phone or traveling throughout the assigned territory for planned visits and or cold callingWork closely with technical staff to provide customers with job site assessments, application solutions, equipment sizing, problem resolution and follow-throughCoordinate project specs with internal operational personnel to ensure that the objective of the project is accomplished in accordance with the customer timeline and requirementsMonitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activitiesPrepare accurate and current progress reports for management on the status of all pending opportunities and customer-related activitiesIn concert with management, develop and achieve applicable Annual Territory Sales Plan which sets KPI’s, revenue & market growth targetsMust be highly organized and able to handle multiple opportunities and clients concurrentlyAbility to work effectively and meet objectives without detailed day-to-day directionThe successful ASM Steam Solutions will be driven to improve the revenue for Steam in the California area. He/she will be an active Steam Subject Matter Expert and will be driven to grow the Steam Solutions business in the assigned area of responsibility.REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or business preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum five years outside sales experience in one of the following industries: HVAC, generators, chillers, boilers, or heat exchangers, and previous experience with rental/leasing environment.
