Tasks & ResponsibilitiesSetting and achieving sales targetsTo implement the strategy developed in liaison with the Business Head, marketing and technical functionsTo set sales targets for team in specified area To meet or exceed the sales targets through proper motivation and regular monitoring of the sales teamTo develop and monitor an integrated operational plan which achieves business goals for the areaTo ensure effective team coordination through regular follow-ups and feedback.To communicate company policies and procedures to the teamTo ensure outstanding personal and team knowledge, and understanding of Boehringer Ingelheim priority products, technical information, product strategy, positioning, key messages and programmersTo ensure effective management of sales team including training and personal development in terms of ongoing training, coaching and counseling through regular field visits.To manage recruitment, performance, development and retention of representatives in the area through quality processes To ensure the compliance for all activities performed in the specified AreaOptimizing territory and customer coverage as per potential opportunityTo keep regular contact and follow-up with registered medical practitioners, KOL networkingTo ensure timely availability of medicines to distributors and stockists in line with the demandTo minimize product breakage or expiries, ensure timely collections and optimum inventory levels at distributor levelSetting and executing the KA Customer Business Plans in line with the local strategy in cooperation with the ROPU/OPU CX and BU Head/Marketing/TechnicalDevelop & preserve effective relationships with Key Account management, administrative and decision-making stakeholders within the account.Lead the process in building attractive comprehensive offers for Key Accounts combining BIAH products & services. Together with the Key Account Team, find creative / innovative ways to grow a sustainable business with these accounts.Position BIAH to win new business of the account by continuously seeking opportunities for mutual growth and collaboration to achieve both BIAH’s and customer’s business goals. Drive optimal selling strategies that are based on valid, customer-specific value propositions and a prior market and competition analysis. Identify, pursue and close new sales opportunities through the successful execution of BIAH’s Integrated KAM and CBP program.RequirementsEducation : Bachelors degree, Masters degree(e.g. MBBS, MSC), DiplomaCandidates must have total sales experience of more than 6 years Managed team of 5-6Prior Key Account management experienceRequired to travel extensively.
