Job Purpose:

As the Area Sales Manager for Romania & Moldova, you will drive the growth of McCain's business by managing and developing a portfolio of regional accounts. Your role involves achieving annual volume targets, building and nurturing relationships with distributors and key end-users, and creating actionable business plans to seize profitable opportunities.

You will:

Deliver budgeted results for one or more countries.Lead the short- and long-term development of Foodservice (FS) and Retail (RT) channels.Collaborate with distributors to execute marketing activities and grow market presence.Manage and guide sales representatives where applicable.Establish direct relationships with key end-users to maximize sales potential.Address and resolve customer complaints to ensure satisfaction.

This role requires a proactive, results-oriented leader with a strategic mindset and the ability to travel extensively across the region.

Reports to: Regional Sales  Manager Eastern Balkan.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and manage FS (Foodservice) and RT (Retail) distributor networks.Achieving sales targets.Develop a strong relationship and partnership with our customers.Identify and explore potentials for development (new customers, new distributors, new sector of activities).Identify new opportunities, monitor competitors, and execute action plans with distributors.Collaborate with marketing and sales teams; manage reporting activities.Monitor competitors and market trends to improve strategy.Regularly report performance metrics and propose actionable insights.Handle customer complaints and ensure satisfaction.Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company.Travel extensively within the region to meet business goals.

Your Profile

Education & Experience:

Minimum of secondary school education; higher education preferred.At least 3 years of work experience on similar position (Sales) in a multinational environment, FMCG industry.Consumer focused sales experience in consumer products with a preference for experience focused in food or beverage.
