Area Sales Professional / Manager Sales
General Roles and responsibilities:
• Identify market opportunities and improve market reach in Infrastructure vertical viz. Airports, Metro, Transportation, Land Ports, Govt. Buildings, Special architectural building like Stadium, Museum etc.• Identify market opportunities and improve market reach in Premium Spaces Vertical viz. Hospitality, Commercial, Office Space, Premium Residential projects etc. • Identify and Specify key jobs with Consultant / Architect for future projects in the region.• Attain the Branch wise assigned Individual Sales Target based on Vertical Assigned.• Input all Information into Sales funnel, Update the Web Based LoA Tool and the Sales Process Tool.• Completes a Go/No Go decision for each project existing in Sales Process Tool• Takes the assistance of the Finance Team to obtain a credit rating of the Customer• Performs Damex check, identifies risk and Opportunities and then evaluates and summarize and present to Regional Management for Approval.• Perform Bid/No Bid and updates sales tool, bid preparation, Records Bid Decision in MOM• Updates the Sales tool and the LoA Tool depending on the value• Takes Legal opinion from SI-RSS Legal and uses information during the LoA Meeting (if applicable)• Prepare Project Costing on sales tool and decides the price to be Quoted to the customer• Evaluates Project risks, perform AC (anti-corruption) risk Assessment.• Product and Solution Security (PSS ) Initiative to check IT security of systems provided to customer.• Submits bid package to tender agency or customer before deadline and update the Sales Funnel and LoA Tool. • Prepare Negotiation Strategy anticipating the contractual needs of the Customer.• Attends the negotiation meetings and understands the exact contractual requirement of the customer. Obtain agreement on contract from customer.• Updates bid status in sales funnel, Sales Tool and & Web based LoA Tool once the customer has made his decision to place the contract on the Siemens as the successful bidder.• Invite & conduct hand over meeting and handover binder to Project Manager for verification.• Compile Handover Documents to Projects for execution.• Work in an open, collaborative, team environment in support of our ownership and customer centric culture.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Graduate Engineer with min. 7 to 10 years’ of relevant experience.Sales Process Knowledge of 02 or more product portfolios (BMS, IBMS, Fire, Access Control, CCTV, Security, Electrical , PLC)Proven sales records with consultative sales experience dealing with end customers (MNC’s and local players), consultants and contractorsAbility to work with internal & external contacts of different cultural backgroundSound knowledge of Commercial Processes, Cost Estimation, Negotiation and Contract management and Financial basics
