Area Sales Supervisor
The Area Sales Supervisor is responsible for sales representatives to ensure volume and SKU distribution targets are met, lead territory coverage, and expand outlet networks. Key duties include supervising weekly sales plans, ensuring retail stock availability, encouraging trade relationships, and supervising cash collection and credit accuracy. The supervisor also ensures timely and accurate reporting in TME Lite. For those leading Primary Distributors (PD), responsibilities include coordinating PD orders, payments, and inventory reporting. This role is essential in driving sales performance and strengthening trade partnerships.
As the Area Sales Supervisor in the area of Sales, you will do:
Sales Target Management: Supervise salespeople to achieve volume and SKU distribution targets by supervising performance daily and weekly, ensuring product availability and visibility, checking outlet coverage and strike rate targets, revising route plans as needed, providing guidance on expanding new outlets, and optimizing materials and resources to improve the assigned territory's overall performance.
Customer Management: Build strong relationships with trade partners to secure high levels of support and loyalty, handle cash collection and retail credit, and supervise retail stock levels to prevent stockouts and ensure proper stock rotation.
Tool & Reporting: Ensure sales agents effectively use TME Lite, while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines for all reports.
Program Implementation & NPD Launch Execution: Provide outlet lists and implement trade programs by brand and tactical offers, collaborating with sales representatives and the TME Lite team to monitor program performance and ensure targets are met. Propose visibility initiatives, such as display contests and POSM execution, to increase growth opportunities within the territory, and drive new product launches in trade following brand team guidelines.
Requirements:
Minimum high school graduate or equivalent experience or bachelor degree is a plus. Minimum 2-3 years in handling sales person in relevant FMCG company. With a valid driving license. Excellent Khmer communication skills. Good Khmer and English communication (Intermediate) and writing and computer literacy. Persuasive selling, communication skills, building co-operative relationships, working under pressure and long distance travelling. Supervisory skills and negotiation skills.
