The Specification Manager / Corporate Accounts Manager works remote and coordinates specification activities and corporate account management for landscape markets within the assigned territory to influence and support decision makers in the irrigation industry. These include irrigation consultants, landscape architects, public clients and corporate clients in the assigned area in the countries mentioned above. The goal is to advance the irrigation specification for Rain Bird products.

Responsibilities Identify, together with the sales/ spec team, corporate account opportunities. Establish corporate accounts profiles, key contacts and prioritize activities to grow, defend or recapture their business.Develop and execute target customer trackers for both specification and corporate account activity to monitor progress and measure ROI.Develop, implement and share methodical specification and corporate accounts best practices.Participate in defining tools (presentations, customer information and databases) required to optimize actions of the sales/ spec team.Develop, establish and grow relationships with all targeted and assigned accounts by cold calling, scheduling appointments and meeting with potential and existing corporate accounts, their purchasing agents, designer and sales teams in order to secure long term business relationships.Capture and communicate competitive products, their activity and penetration within each account.Execute and communicate marketing initiatives. (i.e. pricing. promotions, product changes) in relation with the sales managers.Make Rain Bird the most visible manufacturer to all Specifiers and corporate accounts in the region.Document activity and specification & corporate account sales progress Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree.5+ years’ work experience in sales, proven track record.Working knowledge of residential and commercial irrigation products and practices.Self motivated, team player, results oriented and excellent communication skills required.Creative and collaborative skills.Strong negotiating skills.Excellent written and verbal skills in German and English.Great attention to detail, organizational and strong analytical skills.Microsoft Office Suite proficiencyTravel availability up to 70%
