Job Description
We are looking to hire an Area Superintendent for our Operations group. This individual will support our scope of work at Intel and other significant projects. This is a full-time salaried position reporting to the Project Superintendent.
ResponsibilitiesCoordinate, supervise, and mentor the workforce in their area.Organize and plan field construction work, and collaborate with trade partners.Participate in weekly schedule and management meetings with trade partners.Promote and enforce site-specific safety plans and sound safety principles within their area of work.Create AHAs/STAs with foremen for all self-performed work and review AHAs for trade partners.Participate in project scheduling and maintain the portion of the four-week schedule for their area to ensure the project is completed on time.Keep accurate cost and production records.Develop material handling and site utilization plans for their specific area.Coordinate with project engineers and office engineers on material needs and RFIs.Ensure material received is properly inspected for quantity and quality, and receiving tickets are properly signed and coded.Take responsibility for all quality control on the project and establish high standards for both the company and trade partners.Coordinate the punch list process to ensure owner acceptance at project turnover.Develop and maintain relationships with the owner, architect, engineer, and trade partners to ensure high quality and customer service.Participate in project coordination meetings to maintain pre-planning engagement and scheduling.Assist the BIM and VDC engineers in driving issue resolution to keep the submittal process on schedule.Essential Skills5+ years of Superintendent experience supporting large commercial construction projects.Experience working on semiconductor projects (Intel or TSMC).Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Prolog, Primavera, and the Autodesk Suite.Experience in construction layout, blueprint reading, and shop drawing reading.Additional Skills & QualificationsA 4-year degree in civil or structural engineering, architecture, or construction management.Experience working for a general contractor.Work Environment
This position is located onsite at Intel, which could be at either campus. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday with one Saturday per month, with start and end times to be determined. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
Annual Raises
Bonus, up to 15%
Full Medical, no premiums
HSA account with $1,500 for individual or $3k for family contributed by HP
Car Allowance - $700/month
Company truck and gas card provided or cell phone allowance $75/month
Profit Sharing 15% of salary contributed by HP
401k can add more to this account on top of the 15% already provided, no additional match after that
Life Insurance $150k
Long-term disability included
Scholarships for employee’s children (it’s around $13k/year for any higher education or trade school)
PTO 15 days starting, add 1 day per year up to max of 25, can roll up to 30 days
