Overview The Technology Leader will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, development, and implementation of technology solutions that align with Gallagher's business objectives. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to enhance our technology infrastructure and services. Additionally, the Technology Leader will manage client-facing applications, websites, and client-owned technologies, ensuring they meet client needs and expectations. This position is responsible for supervising staff, including involvement in hiring decisions, performance evaluation, and discipline, scheduling, and directing their work. How you'll make an impact Key IT Systems & Security Leader duties include the following: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that supports Gallagher's business goals and objectives, and delivers on client expectations and business needs. Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Oversee the design, development, and deployment of technology solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and cost-effective. Collaborate with business leaders, Gallagher Corporate IT, and other stakesholders to identify technology needs and opportunities for improvement. Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of Gallagher and client technology infrastructure and systems. Manage and enhance client-facing applications, websites, and client-owned technologies, ensuring they deliver a seamless and effective user experience. Work closely with clients to understand their technology requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet their needs. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organization and clients. Manage technology budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control. Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure the delivery of high-quality technology services. Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in all technology operations. Develop and implement robust security protocols and practices to protect the organization's technology environment from threats and vulnerabilities. About You Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in a technology leadership role, with a track record of successful technology strategy development and implementation. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, cybersecurity, and data management. Experience managing client-facing applications, websites, and client-owned technologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with digital transformation and innovation initiatives. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Familiarity with insurance or financial services industry is a plus. Strong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate one. Desired Knowledge in system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, network and web-related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, etc.).
