Area Vice President of Channel Sales – Building Controls – Midwest US

Mackenzie Stuart is working in close collaboration with an international HVAC equipment distributor. We are currently recruiting for a commercially-focused individual specialized in selling building controls, based in the Midwest.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

Qualify, manage, and grow regional channel partners such as System Integrators, System Distributors, Wholesale, and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s).Establish and achieve channel partner revenue objectives set with the Vice President of SalesManage regular contract negotiation and execution, as well as developing business plans to achieve growth goalsTrain and coach channel partners on how to sell our products, creating and preparing technical programs as requiredAssist partners in preparing proposals, developing backlogs and local marketing initiativesEvaluate OEM applications, and demonstrate on-time reporting, calling and scheduling for lead generationTrack HVAC projects and develop HVAC project strategies to win project orders

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

5+ years’ industry experienceBachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering or a related fieldUnderstands BAS, controls and HVAC solutionsAbility to travel 60 – 70%
