Army Field Artillery / Long Range Fires Analyst

KBR is seeking an on-site Army Field Artillery / Long Range Fires mid-level analyst ideally with Field Artillery (FA)/Fire Support unit assignment or equivalent experience to support Headquarters, Department of the Army in the areas of Army Fire Support operations to support and advise the DAMO-Fire’s leadership in support of the G-3/5/7 DAMO-Fires 2-Star Director, and Army leadership on Army Long Range Fires activities. This position requires strong oral and written communication skills. This position will be working within a larger more senior team of analysts. DAMO-Fire’s mission is to synchronize the HQDA staff, and other key stakeholders in aligning the Army Fire Support community’s efforts across the Army’s processes. The Army Long Range Fires Analyst position will primarily work individually and as part of a team to complete internal Army actions with key stakeholders, and also work externally with the HQDA Staff and its key stakeholders and externally with Joint Staff, Army Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE), Army Futures Command (AFC) Long Range Precision Fires Cross Functional Team (LRPF CFT), Theaters Fires Commands, Multi-Domain

Task Force (MDTF) Army Service Component Commands (ASCCs), Combatant Commands. The Army IAMD Operations Analyst will:

•             Execute staff actions to support HQDA DAMO-Fire Fire Support activities

•             Prepare written products (reports, briefings, info papers, executive summaries) to shape, develop, and defend Army staff positions

•             Prepare and present briefings to leadership and stakeholders

•             Prepare answers questions or requests from legislators (i.e. Congress) or stakeholders

•             Support and/or lead forums to support, advocate or defend Army Fires Community equities

•             Develop enterprise awareness and integration of all DAMO-Fires support to the Army Fires Community in Air and Missile Defense, Field Artillery, and Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems

•             Integrate and synchronize Army Fires equities – Fire Support, Air and Missile Defense, and Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems – across Army, Joint Staff, and Department of Defense staffing processes  

Required Qualifications:

•             Must be a U.S. Citizen

•             Education: Bachelor’s Degree required

•             Experience: 3-7 years of experience

•             Clearance: Ability to attain a Top Secret/SCI clearance required

Preferred Qualifications:

•             Education: Master’s Degree

•             Ability to define, explain and coordinate Army Long Range Fires / Fire Support Operations

•             Ability to write for strategic-level leaders in the Army and the Department of Defense

•             Ability to develop quality written products and presentations for senior leader decision-making

•             Familiarity of Department of Defense and/or Army Staff equivalent processes, planning, resourcing, and operations

•             Familiarity with Army systems and capabilities
