POSITION OVERVIEW
The Sample Division has the opportunity to work with all areas that are responsible for providing products and services that help create preference for Shaw products. We are involved in the concept of merchandising through delivering samples to our customers. This role will give you the opportunity to work on different cross-functional teams and build a wide range of relationships throughout the company. This position will have the opportunity to work with all divisions across the enterprise, print suppliers, and community partners. This position will be responsible for creating and preparing artwork for print production (both internal and external). The ideal candidate will have experience in digital and print processes within a fast-paced, high-quality production environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create, evaluate (pre-flight), manage customer request and supplied file to ensure proper specifications are validated and approved
Communicate with the print production team to ensure seamless workflow and address any technical issues promptly
Maintaining the corporate print services online catalog for ordering print needs
Understanding of various DFE (Digital Front End) workflows, ensuring optimal performance, accuracy and ensuring it integrates with connected processes
Collaborate with all division and non-profit customers to ensure expectations are achieved by using appropriate Shaw branding in terms of colors, graphics, and presentation
Collaborate with IT and data management to integrate data sources into label automation processes
Develop and implement automated labeling solutions to streamline production processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to label printing and data integration
Conduct testing and validation of label designs and variable data mappings to ensure accuracy and consistency
Maintain comprehensive documentation of labeling processes, templates, and variable data mappings
Provide training and support to team members on label automation systems and best practices
Maintain a growing technical expertise in graphic software (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to keep the department at the forefront of pre-press operations
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in graphics design, fine arts, or a related field OR High School Diploma/GED with minimum of 3+ years' experience in a graphic design role, preferably within a print environmentProficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Expertise in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat) and relevant examples within portfolio
Pass Munsell Hue Color Discrimination Test
