Overview

The Art Director reports to the VP, Global creative director. Collaborating with the VP, Global Creative director, this role will work to advance, define and maintain brand creative standards across all global campaigns and marketing channels. The Art Director provides design/conceptual direction for, and collaborates with, Graphic Designers, Digital Designers, Copywriters on the creative team to bring the HEYDUDE brand to life across multiple global channels. In addition, the Art Director works in conjunction with our Brand Partnerships Team, as well as our global marketing, product, e-commerce, and operations teams, marketing leadership, and external brand partners.

 

This role will primarily be responsible for supporting our high-profile brand collaboration initiatives that include a variety of digital, retail, and social media design needs, as well as conceptual and creative activation work on a global scale.

 

This role is expected to build outstanding and compelling content to continue to elevate the HEYDUDE brand across all channels. We are looking for someone who has an intuitive approach to many exclusive products drops as we partner with some of the largest global companies in the world. Each collab needs to be approached and thought through as a well-rounded, 360 marketing campaign. 
 
This is an exciting, fast-paced, and constantly evolving role. Brand partners may require occasional flexibility outside normal business hours in the days leading up to a product launch. With that, these are some of our most highly anticipated, buzzworthy, and notable campaigns, so humility, positivity, and exemplary effort will be critical. 

What You'll Do Partner with VP, Global creative director to build and deliver campaigns across all channels, social, PR, e-commerce, CRM, paid media, organic social, etc. Highly conceptual thinking in both visual and interaction design.  Be highly conceptual and able to easily communicate ideas that support and elevate the HEYDUDE brand. Review and approve creative projects before presenting to VP, Global creative director. Help build an environment of partnership and collaboration throughout HEYDUDE to ensure that briefs are understood, and objectives met while constantly pushing to elevate the Brand. Collaborate with Copywriters to concept big-picture ideas. Collaborate with designers and product to launch HEYDUDE new products. Create innovative visual design across all customer touchpoints from concept to production.  Design and build dynamic campaign assets and user-friendly layouts. Work on multiple concurrent design projects including ecommerce, social and digital marketing assets, and print pieces such as special packaging and seed notes, all while maintaining high standards of quality and creativity.  Maintain extremely high design standards, as well as the ability to juggle multiple projects in various stages while working under pressure and tight deadlines.  Work closely with art directors and Brand Partnerships Team to present to clients and obtain approvals.  Partner with global regions for accurate and successful marketing materials and guidance.  Properly deliver client files effectively, quickly, and within approved deadlines. What You'll Bring to the Table 4-6 years of experience as an Art Director. 5-7 years of experience in design/digital. Expert level proficiencies within Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Organized and able to maintain project, artwork, and photography naming conventions. A willing communicator and collaborator. Committed to the development of Graphic Designers, Copywriters and Videographers/Photographers. Ability to be flexible and able to accept, provide and apply necessary critique and feedback. Expert level presentation skills to executive leadership team. Experience in footwear, as well as Apparel & Accessories is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment.

Title: Art Director, Collabs 

Salary or Pay Range: $120,900 - $130,900  

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
