Art Director

The Art Director plays a major role in developing marketing campaigns by conducting research, coordinating with other members of the team, and designing cohesive, brand-specific initiatives that appeal to the target audience. They lead and take part in the entire campaign development process, from establishing objectives to setting the artistic tone of the project, using visuals to bring concepts to life for websites, magazines and newspapers, ad campaigns, photo shoots, etc. until the project is completed and presented to the client.

Responsibilities include:

Lead all creative design Evaluate and handle project briefs given by the company/client Generate big ideas that can be integrated on different platforms and channels and present these to stakeholders Determine how best to represent a concept visually, choosing which photographs, art, or other design elements to use Manage and plan the production calendar, providing regular updates and feedback Manage team of graphic designers and visualizers, including hiring and training Review and approve designs, artwork, photography, and graphics developed, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines Coordinate resources and activities with other artistic and creative departments Conduct research to better understand brand objectives, target markets, and industry trends Continously look for ways to improve the design department output and processes
