Our Team: Maverick Studios is the in-house creative agency at Inspire Brands in Atlanta, GA. Our award-winning work in Creative/Design, Video/Photography Production Services, Print/Merchandising Management and Account/Project Management has created a positive and collaborative impact across all Inspire’s Shared Services and its 6 iconic brands to include Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Baskin-Robbins, Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s and Sonic. This role

Aligns with the culture and values of Inspire and ensures that design work reflects them.Collaborates with other members of the Brand teams to ensure that broader team goals are met.Analyzes problems, anticipates consequences, and eliminates obstacles to successfully complete projects.Manges and prioritizes projects within timelines for project milestones.Crafts original concepts, execute creative based on established branding, and collaborate with mid- and junior-level designers on execution.Partners with the Associate Creative Directors to concept, present, and defend work while addressing client needs and maintain brand standards.Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams across the company and agencies to ensure timely deliverables.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the culture and values of Inspire and brands is reflective in all content created.Collaborate and support other members of the Studio to ensure that broader team goals are met.Provide day to day art direction and leadership for the creative team.Provide overall art direction and feedback for our team of creative that aligns with strategic, targeted and on-brand creative.Assign, direct, review, improve and approve creative to ensure its quality, strategic integrity, and appropriate integration.Manage approvals from ACDs and VP as needed.Contribute to presentations of creative solutions in the form of decks and live presentations.Champion brand positioning at every point of contact and uphold creative standards.Partner with communication and marketing colleagues in focusing and translating business partner needs into smart, measurable creative strategies.Enable development of fresh, compelling creative concepts.Continually refine workflow processes to better meet high-volume and high-quality partner needs.Stay aware of major cross-brand initiatives and programs foreseeing changing needs.Continually build and mentor/access creative talent on the team.Continually develop the skillsets, expertise, and portfolio of Maverick Studios.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

4 years -  Bachelor’s Degree

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION

8+ years

Minimum 8 years of art and general multi-disciplinary creative leadership responsibility at a digital, marketing or communications agency (or equivalent corporate, in-house setting). Experience working with and/or for large national and global brands across a wide array of media, formats, platforms, and mediums including print, broadcast, digital/mobile/social, POP, outdoor and events/displays, video (restaurant, food and beverage brands a plus).

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

Patience, grace, and empathy for others.Expert level knowledge of a wide array of media, including print, broadcast, online, social, outdoor, environmental, and event.Experience working on multiple brands concurrently, and effectively apply best practices from one to another and understanding the nuances of each.Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills through writing, creativity, and collaboration with teams of diverse backgrounds, skillsets, and expertise.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent concept presentation skills.Strong interpersonal skills, and the confidence plus ability to advocate for doing the right thing for yourself, the team, the company, the brands, and the work.Experience and ability to lead the work, and when necessary, step in as an individual contributor.Intimate knowledge of all industry standard software and best practices.

DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY

This role will have internal approval authority over some routine, day to day operational, production & creative under his or her supervision.Works with business partners and ACDs to gain alignment and final approval over creative work product.
