If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good – you’ve come to the right place.

We’re looking for a “designer’s art director” – someone with excellent design expertise, impressive conceptual abilities, and speedy production skills to deliver the best-in-class presentations and visual storytelling resources for our industry-defining events – Dreamforce, TDX, Connections, and more. You’ll work with our top executives in developing impactful slides, templates, and more that define industry-shaping moments, such as the launch of Agentforce.

A big focus, especially for this role, is to design our world-class keynote presentations that bring together our unique brand, breakthrough products, and immersive storytelling. You’ll be delivering on and scaling our main keynote presentations - 60-90 minute shows for thousands of in-room attendees and millions of online viewers. You’ll be responsible for the conceptualization, templatization, and execution of keynote slides - where the need for attention to detail and quality are always at the forefront.

You need to be able to whiteboard ideas, brainstorm innovations, and be comfortable working with higher management, be an expert in time management, be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, and be experienced in building constructive and effective relationships. Salesforce thrives on embracing change and you should too.

You’ll be a member of our Corporate Messaging team, which plays a critical and hands-on role in defining the narrative of Salesforce and our portfolio of products.

Responsibilities:

Lead design strategy for presentations that drive our global events by partnering with world-class designers, messengers, and agency partners.

Deliver innovative designs that align with the brand and ensure we deliver outstanding presentations for our executive speakers and event audiences.

Develop, design, and maintain enablement resources and templates that empower Salesforce employees to create and deliver high-quality presentations.

Facilitate training that informs and inspires Salesforce employees to develop impactful presentations utilizing brand resources, Apple Keynote, and Google Slides.

Demonstrate experience and ability to lead multiple projects and ambitious deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work with external vendors/freelancers to provide clear art direction and timely/effective feedback to improve creative processes.

Prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short and long-term needs.

Ability to travel up to 30% of the year. (Domestic and International)

Qualifications:

Validated experience at a marketing agency or design shop experience, or with a strong command of new business presentation decks and marketing/advertising campaigns from traditional advertising and design projects (print, OOH, events, experiential, environmental).

Experience creating presentations and experiential marketing for large events.

A compelling portfolio of original work that’s both conceptual and results-driven, with examples showcasing proficiency in the Gestalt principles, grid systems, and expressive typography.

Experience expressing brand systems in new and exciting ways.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Expert experience with Apple Keynote, Google Slides, and the Adobe Creative Suite - particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.

Experience with Motion Graphics Design software (Apple Motion, Adobe After Effects) is a plus.

Experience with 3D Modeling, 3D Animation, or Epic’s Unreal Engine a plus.

Experience with Storyboarding a plus.

Key Success Factors:

Ability to thrive in ambiguity: The fast-paced, ever-changing nature of events and the evolving needs of executive presentations require the ability to adapt and make sound decisions with limited information.

Excellent cross-functional communication: This role demands seamless collaboration with various teams (marketing, product, executive leadership, agencies) to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.

Comfort working across time zones: Collaboration with global teams and the demands of international events necessitate flexibility and adaptability to different time zones.

Executive presence: Confidently present design concepts and rationale to senior leadership, articulating the value and impact of creative solutions.
