High Focus Centers has an extensive history of providing high-quality outpatient treatment in southeastern Pennsylvania through its subsidiary programs: Rehab After Work, The Light Program, and Seeds of Hope. We are currently seeking a part-time Art Therapist to support our clients. This role includes travel to our Jenkintown, Center City, and Northeast Philadelphia offices. Scope of Position/Technical Competency:
Conduct and facilitate art therapy and expressive treatment programs. Prepare materials for facilitating sessions and/or groups. Collaborate with other professionals in a team approach. Assist Executive Directors in achieving excellent program survey results and make recommendations as needed to provide optimal service. Evaluate the behavioral and emotional needs of clients. Participate in completing documents within the allowable time frames in collaboration with therapists. Attend meetings regarding client progress. Provide up to 28 hours of scheduled work per week as needed by the program. Attend trainings, staff meetings, and supervision as required and according to program standards. Maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients, including crisis intervention. Uphold ethical boundaries with clients. Travel to Jenkintown, Center City, and Northeast Philadelphia offices. Perform other duties as deemed necessary.Technical Competencies:
Demonstrate an understanding of addiction, mental health, eating disorders, and complex conditions. Apply art therapy and expressive arts practices effectively.Education/Experience:
Master-level Art Therapist, ATR or ATR-BC required. LPC or LCSW preferred but not required. Trauma-Informed Art Therapy or Trauma-Informed Expressive Art Therapy Certification preferred.Pyramid Healthcare CORE Values:
