PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To provide first line support with change overs and repairs on the labelling machines in Packaging, as well as to provide direct support to the operational staff during change overs, setup and running of labelling machines. Furthermore, to provide 1st line maintenance support to the line in the event of equipment failures to ensure efficient and effective provision of maintenance related support to the operational team.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

 

N3 (Trade Certificate) in either Electrical, Millwright, Fitting & Turning or Instrumentation, with a minimum of 2-3 years’ relevant experience in a production plant A strong electrical background as well as experience in welding and fitting will be an added advantage

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

Prepare and execute planned maintenance and change over activities   Provide 1st line breakdown support on labelling machines and related equipment Complete documentation on improvements and modifications made Improve equipment and processes in the Packaging Plant Maintain Health & Safety Standards Coach and train operators
