Reporting to General Manager, the Artistic Director will be responsible for the overall leadership of artistic performances, entertainment elements and show content of City of Dreams and House of Dancing Water. The Artistic Director leads the Artistic teams, including the Artists, Stage Management, Performer Wellness and Coaching, and supports the General Manager to manage and deliver artistic content, and business results. The Artistic Director shall provide high level planning, development, support, and consultation to ensure the team is commitment to company standards, values, and principles. Lead communicate and collaborate with all internal and external departments, parties, suppliers, vendors, and develop a strong partnership within the Artistic, Technical and Customer Service departments.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
SHOW OPERATIONS
Run the Artistic Division, including the Artists, Stage Management, Performer Wellness and Coaching.Maintain and refine the artistic intent of the Conceptors in all aspects, staging, lighting, etc. Direct beneficial and/or necessary modifications of the show to ensure the continuance of the artistic intent. Ensure a deep understanding and commitment to the show concept within the Cast and Artistic division.Develop and maintain the Show Bible and applicable Artistic division SOP required for the ongoing operations of the show.Supervise the Artistic Division and the ensemble in its daily operations.Manage objective setting and performance evaluations of Artists and Artistic staff.Manage the integration and training of replacement artists and backup performers.Nourish the overall artistic environment of the company through the implementation of artistic development workshops and master classes.Prepare, maintain and monitor budget, forecasts and expenses on an ongoing basis.Set objectives and validate Operational processes, including department policy & procedure, operational SOP, KPIs, Flow charts, guidelines, and training handbooks.Develop and present Operational Budgeting Strategy, Process, and Management Tools.Support and collaborate
Lead the Artistic division departments towards productive coordination with Technical and Customer Service departments in the management of a safe working environment.Provide support and active communication and collaboration with all related department, including but not limited to Human Resources, Environmental Services, Security, IT, Sales and Marketing, PR, and Finance, etc. to ensure a smooth successful continuity of show operations and content development where necessary.Manage special event performances, as required.Perform other reasonable tasks and projects assigned by General ManagerKEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
