Job description

Infosys is hiring for AS400 (RPG, RPGLE, CLP, CLLE) Technology Lead

Infosys is seeking a AS400 Lead Developer with RPG, CLP, CLLE experience. The position will primarily be responsible for providing solutions on the Builder Parts – Service systems / processes as per customer's requirements. The selected candidate be able to Lead requirements elicitation, Create of Application Architecture Document (AAD), Create of Design Artifacts, Review team deliverables, Deliver High quality codes, Support Deployment and Post deployment related activities, Support Transition activities, Interface with internal team and key stakeholders and Analyze and resolve issues to ensure high quality deliverables at each stage of SDLC within the defined guidelines, policies and Norms.


Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.​​​​​​​Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX / Denton, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.Experience in AS400 (CLP, CLLE, RPG, RPGLE), DB2 development Skills


Preferred Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience in AS400 Production support projects (Troubleshooting/Debugging) and handling high priority incidents

At least 5 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects

3+ years of experience in Retail/CPG domain

At least 3 years of domain knowledge in Supply Chain Management and Distribution

Experience in ITSM tools like ServiceNOW

Knowledge in Incident and Problem management

Excellent Analytical skills

Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

Ability to work in team in diverse / multiple stakeholder environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.​​​​​​
