Our Client, a Utility And Energy Generation And Distribution company, is looking for a Asbuilt Technician for their Omaha, NE location. Responsibilities: + The primary responsibility will be to hang asset tags at our natural gas facilities, ensuring accurate identification and tracking of equipment. + Hang asset tags on equipment and components at natural gas compressor stations, receipt points, and delivery points. + Ensure accurate and consistent labeling and identification of assets according to company standards. + Collaborate with the asset management team to maintain up-to-date records and documentation. + Create accurate drawings utilizing research obtained through field research. + Assist in reviewing and interpreting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to accurately place asset tags. + Support the implementation of AutoCAD software for asset management purposes. + Coordinate with on-site technicians and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for tagging and labeling processes. + Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives by providing suggestions for optimizing asset tracking procedures. Requirements: + High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus. + Prior experience in asset management, drafting, or a related field is preferred, but not required. + Familiarity with reading Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) is a plus. + Proficiency in AutoCAD software is desirable but can be learned on the job. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. + Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. + Excellent organizational and time management skills.
