ASEAN Consumer Distribution Lead, Project Kuiper

Amazon’s Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
The Kuiper ASEAN Consumer Business team is focused on launching and operating the Kuiper service across the ASEAN region. As we head towards service launch, we are looking for a talented ASEAN Consumer Distribution Lead responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for the distribution of Kuiper services through distributors to end-consumers.
As a valued member of the ASEAN Consumer Business leadership team, you will be obsessed with delighting our customers and identifying mutually beneficial opportunities with our distribution partners.
A successful candidate will be both entrepreneurial and highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrixed organization and adept at understanding how businesses work across the ASEAN region. We are looking for someone who is customer obsessed and technology savvy with a proven track record of leading new initiatives, especially in consumer related products. This is a highly visible position with significant customer impact across many parts of the Kuiper business.
This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations.
Key job responsibilities
• Build and maintain broad relationships with third-party partners, develop and manage distribution opportunities for the Kuiper consumer business in the ASEAN region.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams (Business Strategy, Planning, Operations, Product, Business Development, Customer Support, Field Services, and Logistics) to support customer interests, and understand how to balance advocacy for the customer with the business needs of Kuiper.
• Develop detailed business cases for new distribution opportunities including subscriber and revenue forecasts, financial projections, fixed and variable marketing investments, contractual terms, financial trade-offs, and strategic value capture.
• Develop an executive relationship strategy with partners and build a strong working relationship with the Kuiper senior leadership team on order to lead executive business reviews and shape distributor go-to-market opportunities.
• Participate in Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Business Reviews, and continuously measure and forecast attainment against goals, utilizing various dashboards and tools to derive well-vetted analysis, and other ad-hoc requests and analysis as needed.
