Asia Pacific Indirect Sourcing Director
• Provide leadership and direction for the Indirect Procurement team related to all aspects of procurement including developing innovative strategies and processes to reduce costs, improve quality, and ensure market competitiveness of supply for goods and services on • Develop key strategies to enable business success by identifying market competitive supply base, synergizing X-Opco indirect spend, consolidating high spend procurement scale & business needs, optimize supply base to deliver savings, enhance procurement processes, governance and policies, etc. A ctively participating in decision-making, negotiations, and implementations. • Lead and guide a team of procurement professionals in enhancing and executing procurement processes, monitoring supply markets, and identifying critical indirect spend categories to drive corporate and cross-Opco synergies and savings • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to take action at all levels of the organization cross- functionally, including building and maintaining strong strategic relationships, gaining buy in from key stakeholders, and negotiating with internal and external partners/vendors/customers. • Collaborate with the legal team to lead complex contract negotiations and ensure compliance. The essential requirements of the job include: • Bachelor degree in relevant areas such as supply chain, business management, operations, or finance; MBA or other relevant degree/certification desirable • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience (e.g., sourcing, buying, or procurement) • Proven experience managing mid-large size enterprises procurement function at corporate level or divisional level • Strong communication, financial acumen, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional individuals and teams at all levels of the organization to create buy in from relevant stakeholders and influence key decisions • Strong negotiations, analytical, problem solving, organization, and project management skills, including the ability to collect, analyze, and integrate information by leveraging appropriate productivity tools • Experience in contract management and compliance • Proven ability to lead others to solve complex problems which bridge multiple products/projects or departments It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: • Knowledge of lean tools such as 5S, Standard Work, KANBAN, Policy Deployment, Value Stream Management, Visual Management, SAP etc. • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, communicate and implement a strategy to ensure compliance to company, regulatory and industry requirements • Supply chain or operations experience in Biotech, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices or Healthcare industries Join our winning team today.
