About this team

Reporting to the Manager, Sample Production Operations. This role is dedicated to manage Editorial Marketing sample process and sample delivery to meet both brand and regional merchant team need.  It is critical to facilitate collaboration between multiple cross-functional teams and vendors on sample order management. 

A day in the life: Manage end to end sample operating process in seasonal timelines, with a focus on monitoring buy status and placing sample orders.Preview seasonal sample timelines with our partners to ensure timely completion of orders, emphasizing cost-saving opportunities and efficient resource allocation. Voice out any potential roadblocks on achieving target sample delivery date and implement proactive solutions.Monitor FG vendors to get the orders soonest after sample orders release with accurate informationIdentifying and resolving any unknown risks and uncertainties that may impact delivery of the samples.Collaborate cross-functionally with SSC Sample Operation partners, stakeholders to provide efficient and effective service to support sample requestClosely monitoring order delivery status and address outstanding issues to guarantee on-time sample delivery, utilizing strong excel skills for data analysis and mapping. 

Qualifications:Your ideal background: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textiles or related fields; 7+ years experience in a similar role within a production environment; strong knowledge of technical fabrics, garment construction and related machinery.Experience in working directly with vendors and ability in driving performanceExcellent communication skills: Interpersonal, written and verbalCreativity and Problem-Solving: Ability to devise unconventional sampling solutions when existing methods are not feasible, emphasizing the value of innovative thinking. Fluent in English (with Mandarin preferred)  Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook); Excel is your best friend
