About the Opportunity:

Join our dynamic Design Verification Methodology team, where we develop cutting-edge methodologies and EDA workflows across our global R&D centres in Austin, Stockholm, and Lund. As part of Ericsson Silicon, we specialize in creating advanced ASICs and FPGAs for the latest technology nodes within Ericsson’s 5G telecommunications portfolio. We are currently seeking enthusiastic New graduates eager to start their career in ASIC design, DevOps, and CI/CD automation. In this role, you will contribute to shaping and optimizing methodologies, EDA workflows, and compute cluster efficiency, playing a key part in adopting industry best practices for high-performance silicon design. What you’ll do:
•    Assist in designing and maintaining Jenkins review flows, timed/nightly builds, and release automation for silicon development.
•    Support optimization of EDA workloads and compute cluster efficiency under guidance.
•    Contribute to developing CI/CD pipelines for silicon design and verification. 
•    Help develop, deploy, and support EDA tool flows in Frontend Design & Verification.
•    Learn and participate in implementing AI/ML-driven automation for job scheduling and resource management. 
•    Identify potential inefficiencies in workflows and tooling with mentorship. 
•    Collaborate with engineering teams to improve build, test, and deployment processes. 
•    Assist in maintaining high availability, reliability, and security of CI/CD infrastructure.


Skills you bring:
•    M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Wireless Communication Systems, AI, or a related field. 
•    Relevant thesis work, internships, or projects showcasing experience with Jenkins, Groovy scripting, and pipeline automation. 
•    Fundamental understanding of DevOps principles, particularly in hardware/software co-design or silicon development.
•    Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation purposes. 
•    Enthusiasm for working with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-based CI/CD tools. 
•    Familiarity with Git, artifact management, and basic release engineering. 
•    Strong desire to learn continuous integration methodologies and explore AI/ML applications in DevOps.
•    Excellent presentation & communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within distributed teams.
•    Self-motivated, driven, and proactive.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
