ASIC / FPGA Engineer

$49.23-$54.23/Hour

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test ruggedized electronics for the U.S. Navy, focusing on FPGA and ASIC development.Develop architectures, schematics, and high-speed interfaces for advanced signal processing and embedded systems.Implement FPGA-based designs using VHDL, ensuring reliability in mission-critical environments.Conduct system-level digital circuit analysis, design verification, and testing.Support integration and production phases by troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing designs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical innovation and meet program requirements.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance.2+ years of experience in ASIC/FPGA design and verification, or a Master’s degree with relevant coursework.Proficiency in VHDL and FPGA design, particularly with Xilinx platforms.Strong understanding of embedded micro-processing systems, digital circuit design, and high-speed interfaces.Experience with embedded systems programming (C/C++) and FPGA development workflows.Familiarity with memory architecture, system-level integration, and signal processing applications.Knowledge of cyber-secure design principles and high-reliability systems is a plus.Preferred Experience:Hands-on experience with Xilinx development tools and advanced FPGA architectures.Experience in ASIC design, digital signal processing, or real-time embedded systems.Familiarity with electrical and systems engineering best practices.Your Recruiter Still have questions?
