Job Purpose

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as an ASIC Test Engineering Intern. The ASIC Test Engineering Intern will be responsible for aiding in the development, documentation, and implementation of ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) test software, ATE (Automated Test Equipment) interface hardware, instrumentation hardware, test methodology, and software tools. The ASIC Test Engineering Intern will work with the ASIC Test Engineering Group to simulate, validate, characterize, and qualify BorgWarner ASIC designs using ATE.

Key Responsibilities

Development of enhanced instrumentation & simulation tools for use with ATEDevelopment of supporting test software libraries to support enhanced instrumentation & simulation toolsValidate, verify and document instrumentation/simulation solutionsAid in validation of ASIC designsAid in DFT (Design for Test) activities for ASIC designsWrite shell/PERL/python scripts to support ASIC test teamPerform statistical analysis and provide feedback for ASIC designs

What We’re Looking For

Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or be a graduate from an accredited collegeGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or B average, upon initial hire dateWorking knowledge of C++Familiarity with FPGA’s & VerilogAbility to write shell/PERL/python scriptsStrong background in statistics/data analysis
