Your New Role

WBD is recruiting a Wardrobe Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure the seamless management and organization of wardrobe items for productions. The Wardrobe Assistant will be responsible for a range of tasks, including ironing, simple sewing, organizing racks, managing dry cleaning logistics, and coordinating with brands for wardrobe loans. This role is essential for maintaining the quality and readiness of wardrobe items, balancing efficiency with attention to detail.

Your Role Accountabilities

General Ironing: Perform ironing of wardrobe items to ensure they are in perfect condition for use.Simple Sewing Tasks: Execute basic repairs and adjustments on garments, such as sewing buttons, hems, and minor fixes.Rack Assembly: Organize and assemble racks for proper arrangement and storage of garments.Receiving, Delivering, and Preparing Garments for Dry Cleaning: Manage the reception and delivery of garments to the dry cleaner, ensuring deadlines and cleaning requirements are met.Brand Search for Loan Actions: Research and contact brands to manage the loan of wardrobe items for productions and events.Dressing Room Setup: Prepare and organize dressing rooms to be ready and functional for talents and the production team.Wardrobe Fittings: Assist in wardrobe fittings, ensuring garments fit correctly and meet production requirements.Wardrobe Pick-Up and Delivery: Perform trips to pick up or deliver wardrobe items as needed by the production.Administrative Tasks with Brands: Carry out administrative tasks related to wardrobe management, including communication and coordination with brands and suppliers.Previous Experience with Talents and Producers: Demonstrate previous experience in interacting and managing relationships with talents and producers, ensuring effective and professional communication.Return Management: Manage the process of returning garments to brands or suppliers, ensuring it is done in an orderly and efficient manner.


Qualifications & Experiences

Experience in similar roles in the wardrobe or production industry.Skills in sewing and ironing.Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Availability to travel and work flexible hours.Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.


Desirable

Experience working with pricing and content management platforms.Familiarity with the tools and systems used in wardrobe management.Previous experience working in a global, remote team environment.Knowledge of VIP access management and customer service best practices.Experience working within the media or entertainment industry.
