Lead Interpreter Full-time Skills and Requirements include: + ASL fluency level appropriate for medical assignments. + Proven ability to effectively interpret between ASL and English, preferably as demonstrated by a national certification. + Excellent customer service skills. + Ability to work independently, including monitoring own schedule, arriving on-time to customer worksites, and patiently handling situations as they arise in the field. + High-school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred. + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. + Ability to travel to the Hampton Roads Peninsula daily. The majority of the appointments will be medical, between Williamsburg and Newport News/Hampton.
