Reports to: Operations Manager and/or Asphalt Superintendent, has supervisory responsibility

Wage: $90,000 (based on experience and qualifications)

Job Summary:

The Asphalt Paving Foreman will oversee the paving crew. The Asphalt Paving Foreman is a full-time position that requires travel with overtime through peak season, reports to the Operations Manager and/or Asphalt Superintendent, and has supervisory responsibility.

Primary Responsibilities:

Coordinate all paving aspects of the job. Ensure preventative maintenance programs are followed. Be prompt and timely for all assigned shifts, schedules, and projects. Teach, coach, and work with the team in a constructive manner. Make safety the main priority while working on equipment. Maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers and management. Additional duties as assigned by management, as this job description is non-exhaustive.

 

Position Requirements:

Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test. Three or more years of experience in asphalt. High level of reasoning abilities (i.e. Meeting deadlines, Prioritize Company and customer needs, serving as a leader to both peers and direct reports). Possess excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form.
