Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking experienced Asphalt Plant Operators for any of the North Texas asphalt plants. We excel at what we do and are looking for talented construction professionals that want to excel with us.
The purpose of this job is to operate plant efficiently to meet production goals set daily while maintaining a safe operation.
Functional Areas of Responsibility
HMAC plant facilitySpecific Duties and Responsibilities
Load proper material into Trucks to be delivered to specific jobs Communicate with dispatch and paving crews Receive incoming material tickets Report any issues to foreman or superintendent Work days or nights and weekends with extended hours as required at different locations Maintain maintenance, housekeeping and janitorial duties at the plant Operate plant controls to produce HMAC that meets specification Must work at heights up to 70’, work in hot and cold weather, be able to climb ladders and stairs be able to lift 50 pounds Follow all procedures and safety requirements of the company. Conduct JHA’s and Toolbox safety meetings Supervise plant crew at times Other duties as assignedPosition Specific Success Factors
