Overview Sunroc is seeking a skilled Screed Operator to efficiently and safely operate heavy equipment, rake and shovel asphalt, and direct laborers. Things You’ll Do + Operate heavy equipment (including paver, asphalt screed, and roller) efficiently and safely. + Rake and shovel asphalt. + Direct and teach our laborers. + Grease, oil, and perform minor repairs on equipment, using a grease gun, oilcans, and hand tools. Requirements + Must be 18 years or older. + Experience placing different types of asphalt mixes. + Experience with System 5 TopCon and CAT Trimble Automatics. + Understand asphalt paving procedures. + Attention and commitment to safety. + Ability to work well with others in a team environment. + Strong work ethic.
