You'll communicate with paving crews, inspect job sites, and ensure safety compliance. Things You’ll Do + Monitor employee training and certification. + Maintain division recruiting, hiring, promotion, and corrective action. + Communicate instructions and expectations to construction paving crews and foremen. + Communicate project issues and concerns with project manager and the customer. + Visit and inspect each job site daily. + Organize, plan, schedule and delegate work, labor, and equipment. + Assist in all project cost control and measurement tools being used on the project. + Review, understand, and adhere to all contracts. + Maintain insurable driving record. + Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements. Requirements + High school diploma or general education degree (GED). + Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry preferred. + Experience in the asphalt paving field preferred. + Ability to multitask + Excellent customer service skills + Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills + Knowledge of all equipment used for job and how to use it + Ability to read and comprehend drawings and blueprints + Ability to use a computer and software programs: (HCSS, HeavyJob, Outlook, Word, Excel, ect.)
