Obtain weight, height, blood pressure, heart rate, and ekg as indicated, along with all meaningful use criteria on each patient and document in the electronic record 2. Review and document patients’ medications in electronic record 3. Review and populate as necessary the patient’s medical and surgical history in the electronic record 4. Patient education including but not limited to cardiac medications, diet, exercise, and procedure 5. Report any issues to cardiologist 6. Assist with organizing patient flow in department stress testing/ echo testing: 1. Provide patient care which includes initial assessment, set up, assessment and monitoring throughout stress testing procedures. 2. Provide education and ensure patient understanding at initiation of test. 3. Report any abnormalities to interpreting cardiologist 4. Complete testing template per testing protocol in electronic record and route to interpreting cardiologist. 5. Demonstrates proficiency in establishing intravenous lines. 6. Administers drugs using various routes according to appropriate protocols and guidelines. 7. Administer echo contrast as per established protocol 8. Processes patient diagnostic testing for evaluation according to equipment/test protocols. 9. Demonstrates proficiency in all department equipment required to perform job functions including but not limited to stress equipment, holter monitors, IV pumps. Other functions: **Salary Range:** $34.01- $39.43 _The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job.
