We are looking for you to join our team as a Assembler 3 based out of San Diego, CA. This position is on-site.
What You'll Get to Do:
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. May be required to perform conformal/corona coating applications for printed circuit boards (PWB).
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or hands-on experience with printed circuit board assembly and mechanical module assemblyPrevious or current certifications in IPC-610 and/or J-STD 001Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, work instructions, and process specifications.Experience maintaining complete production and quality documentation, including traceability records and process logs.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 6S and ESD protocols.Ability/willingness to work with chemicals and solvents in an engineering-controlled environment using appropriate PPE.Excellent documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.Able to obtain and maintain security clearance upon hireUS Citizenship requiredHigh School Diploma or GED.Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.Preferred Qualifications:
Active DOD clearance4 mor more years’ hands-on experience with conformal coating processes in electronics manufacturing.Past experience in small scale chemical mixing and application.Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams to optimize coating operations.Experience with manual dexterity for handling small components and precision tools.Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs as required.What We Can Offer You –
