Production Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Each day, you will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor. You will also showcase your expertise by reading and interpreting the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels. The work model for the role is: #onsite This role is contributing to the UK, Electrification Emergency Lightning division.You will be mainly accountable for:•Conducts all types of assembly work to produce a semi-finished or final products/systems/panel, including the packing where integrated with production lines.•Some requirements to use light hand tools. •Regular quality testing as part of a defined production process. •Conducts shop floor operation in compliance with health & safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance. •Operates within standard operating procedures and maintains a clean work area.
Qualifications for the roleExperience in light assembly within manufacturing environments preferred.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude.Experience with PCBs and wiring is a plus.Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
