JOB SUMMARY

 

The Assembler position ensures that all activities in his/her production area are in order so that efficient production can take place on a daily basis. The candidate must effectively manage the resources in the department and provide assistance to those in need.

 

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Job duties include but are not limited to the following:

 

Perform manual assembly tasks which will include lifting/pushing/pulling up to 35 lbs. Operate hand tools, power tools (i.e. wrenches, air and electric screwdrivers) as well as other production line tools, fixtures, measuring instruments or any other necessary piece of equipment/machinery. Perform repetitive manual operations such as fitting, aligning, calibrating and adjusting parts to meet engineering specifications and requirements.   OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Work area must be kept clean and organized during the entire shift. Follow all Policies, Safety and Plant rulesResponsible for reporting all safety concerns and quality issues to Leads and/or Supervisors. Perform other duties as assigned by Lead and/or Supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS

 

Ability to work quickly and accurately without jeopardizing safety to self and others. Able to communicate and cooperate with other team members. Production line assembly experience is a must. Sheet metal and electronic components assembly experience preferred. High school education or equivalent preferred
