We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for an Assemblerto join a leading Company located in theNewington, NH surrounding area. 1st shift $17.75/hr 6:00am -2:30pm M-F Assemblers receive, assemble, disassemble, refinish, reassemble, perform final assembly, inspection, and ready various firearms for quality testing. Job Duties & Responsibilities: + Regular on-site attendance/punctuality is a necessary function of this position. + Assemblers are responsible for all department-related assembly tasks as directed by the department Lead/Supervisor or an appointed representative. + Product assembly includes but is not limited to, piece part preparation, slide assembly, frame assembly, configuration modification, various firearm assembly, product packaging, and magazine assembly. + All assembly assignments will be completed through the interpretation and comprehension of written and verbal instructions + Small hand tools and machinery are used in these endeavors and require manual dexterity as well as basic safety awareness. + Participates in 5S workplace organizational activities and maintains their working area in good working order through sustainment activities. + May be required to work in other functional areas and/or facilities depending on business needs. Education/ Experience & Skills & Abilities: + High school diploma or equivalent; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Typically requires 0+ years of experience. + Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. + Ability to read and understand directions, work instructions, and basic blueprints. + Ability to demonstrate a continued desire to learn and interpret information clearly and accurately. Receive, and interpret information clearly, accurately, thoroughly, and effectively encompassing all interpersonal, cross-functional, and peer group settings. + Ability to work in a team environment share information respect and assist other team members.
