Job Title: Assembler

Our Client:

Our client is a leading aerospace and defense contractor. This is a temporary position (W2 Only) in Oldsmar, FL and is an excellent opportunity for the right individual. The contract is expected to last approximately 1 year. With the opportunity to convert permanently. This role is on-site, so you should be comfortable commuting to Oldsmar. Position Overview:

We are looking for a capable and versatile Assembler to perform a wide range of assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. In this role, you will be responsible for both repetitive and non-repetitive tasks, ensuring that our products meet stringent quality standards. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

· Utilize microscopes to verify correct part placement and orientation

· Manually align parts before soldering

· Perform post-reflow inspection and touch-up to correct solder defects

· Identify and touch up poor wetted solder joints, solder voids, bridges, misaligned parts, tombstoned components, and other solder defects

· Read instructions and identify standard SMT components

· Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with the possibility of overtime

· Sit for long periods of time and focus on tedious tasks

Requirements:

· Experience using rework equipment such as hot air pencils, hot plates, and BGA removal tools (ERSA or other OEM)

· Active or expired IPC-610 Certification is a must

· IPC J-STD-001 Certification preferred

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work meticulously

· Excellent problem-solving skills

· Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
