Job Description

We are looking for a diligent and skilled Mechanical Assembler to perform a variety of routine mechanical assembly operations. The role involves conducting inspections, using hand and power tools, and adhering to process specifications. This position requires a commitment to safety and a willingness to cross-train in other areas.

ResponsibilitiesPerform routine mechanical assembly operations.Conduct inspections of own and other associates' work to ensure correctness.Use hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers and crimpers to assemble products based on blueprints.Apply process specifications governing the production of products within an assigned cell.Record production time and quantity data accurately.Actively demonstrate adherence to all safety policies and procedures.Be open to cross-training in various roles.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of mechanical assembly experience.Ability to read and communicate in English.Experience with blueprints, mechanical assembly, and power tools.High School Diploma required.

Work Environment

This position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 5 AM to 1:30 PM. The work environment is a manufacturing setting that is occasionally loud. Steel toe shoes and safety glasses are required. The assignment is temp-to-hire over approximately 90 working days (about 4 months). Attendance is crucial, and tenure is highly valued.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
