Job Description:

Location: Tualatin, Oregon

CoWorx has partnered with a nationwide manufacturing leader that produces connectors and associated components for use in electronic applications. They are looking to add Assemblers to their team in Tualatin, OR! These are first shift positions working Monday to Thursday and the schedule is 6:00am-4:30pm with the option for overtime on Fridays. The pay range is $18 to $20 an hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assembling fiber optic cables
• Use of various hand tools (wire cutters/strippers, rulers, crimpers)
• Assemble components, sub-assemblies, or finished products according to work orders, blueprints, or specifications.
• Use hand tools to assemble parts and ensure the correct fit.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Document assembly processes and track production progress.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and collaborate with other team members to resolve problems.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Have worked in a manufacturing environment, preferably in cable assembly
• Experience using hand tools such as wire cutters/strippers, rulers, crimpers, ect..
• Able to read assembly instructions and drawings
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Detail oriented
